They're pretty good with light rain, I've walked in a drizzle with my Stride Cinch and everything inside was fine. Wouldn't dunk it in a puddle though.

I think they say 'water-resistant' not 'waterproof' for a reason. Keep it out of downpours, but for everyday splashes or light rain, you should be good.

I'd say they're pretty comparable in quality to Herschel, maybe a step below Nike or Adidas in terms of 'athletic' branding but definitely more stylish for casual use.
